Lots of prattle, for sure, but there's also an off button. On days like today (Wed. 5/7) it becomes almost like a chat room, which has its benefits. I think all the online stuff actually encourages excellence in journalism, frankly, because you can no longer just phone in the obvious. That's already been tweeted many times. Kind of that "competition brings out excellence" theory. I mean, today we can all read the news releases from the teams and league. Don't need "reporters" to regurgitate them to us.
