Quote of the day

But of all of the “transition” drivers from 2008, the guy I’m really looking forward to watching in ’09 is EJ Viso. He has the chance to be a mega-star. - Mike King, Voice of IMS Radio, who like so many of us has already begun consuming copious amounts of Visoberry Power Juice.

ADDENDUM: Listen to King deftly screaming with excitement throughout the promo for the upcoming "Ten Ten Closest Finishes" special on VERSUS this Saturday.

  1. I'm not taking umbrage with anyone because, hey, I've had shotgun on the EJ bandwagon for awhile now but it's strange how crowded it's getting considering how much grief the guy got from his fellow drivers and the press last year.

  2. I am taking "umbrage", whatever that means. All I see when I look at Viso is that poor track marshall at Magny-Cours that almost had a heart attack looking at him flying through the air. :)

  4. whilst the EJ bandwagon might have a few supporters now... the bandwagon thats about to collapse is Briscoe's... the hate and laughter THAT guy got in the Ganassi Toyota days and the early part of last year was crazy... hmmm, win a few races- really sends the "he sucks team" to the back of the line.

    go EJ.

  5. Hey, I need someone else to root for. I love Vitor, but let's face it, he may never win a race.

  6. King slays me. He goes up two octaves and generally FREAKS OUT a couple times a race. OH MYYYYYYY.
