The Bucyrus Telegraph has many more interesting quotes regarding the disasterous start of the race, although the most amusing may be from Scott Dixon.
"I could tell with Helio being on the pole that he was just going to start the lap before it started. He always goes so early," Dixon joked. "I think he kind of screwed Danica there..."
Danica, your first win is imminent. For this, I give you the maddest of props.
It is clear that there were a number of things (open to a number of different interpretations) that happened on that start which contributed to the problem.
Be glad you didn't suffer Marco's fate and managed to run a truly admirable race with your best RC finish to date. Even if the incident had not occurred, you were not going to win this one. It is simply fact. T'was Scott's birthday, for crying out loud!
Take a breath, girl...you're getting there...and oddly enough, we're all pulling for ya.
