Indecision '07: Kansas

It would seem that Sam Hornish Jr will not be taking his Indecision '07 tour to Kansas Speedway this weekend, since (a) he's not on the N-word entry list and (b) he spent yesterday practicing at Kentucky Speedway.

Maybe in all the frustration he got Kansas and Kentucky mixed up. Or not.

“We haven’t decided what we’re going to do yet. The big thing for me is to continue to wait a little bit and get to the point where I feel like I have a good head on my shoulders as far as making the decision,” Hornish, Jr., said. “We’ll make it when that time comes. The best thing about it is that I’ve not had to make that decision yet.” (MORE from WhoWon)
Sam's wife Crystal must be the most patient woman on the planet.

    Jeff,

I know it's not Sam I Am, but have you been following the Jacques Villenueve saga over in NA$CAR land? Seems Jeff Gordon and others of his ilk (see: Kyle Busch) are in hysterics over a "rookie" like Jack making his debut at Talladega. Of course, they forget two things:

    1) Villeneuve has run 500 mile races before (Does winning Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year in 1994 and taking the win at the Indianapolis 500 in 1995 ring a bell with anyone?)

    2) Villeneuve will probably be kept out of the race by NA$CAR's precious "Top-35" rule anyhow. So it's all wasted breath.

Still, it's fun to watch the NA$CAR drivers make fools of themselves over this.

Yeah, but the counterpoint to that is none of those other 500's are stupid enough to bunch the cars up so tightly like NASCAR does at Talladega. One slight misjudgement and half the field can be wiped out. I kinda see their point on that one.
