Who wants to catch a SeaBass?

Since he's currently unemployed (please take a number behind Justin Wilson, Oriol Servia, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Will Power, AJ Foyt IV, et al) this isn't exactly breaking news, but it's still fun to see Sebastien Bourdais telling Autosport that he's putting his name out there for an IndyCar ride.

Sebastien Bourdais revealed exclusively to Autosport magazine this week that he is considering a return to racing in North America if he is left without a drive in Formula One next season.

"I'm pretty open," he told Autosport. "Right now I need a good programme and America would be an interesting option.

"I have been looking at alternatives (to F1) because that's my job. I need to find a way to make a living, but that's not easy right now - everybody is not willing to commit to any programmes."
Bimergification just doesn't feel complete without him.

How many of his four championships would Bourdais trade for Villeneuve's single (pre-split) championship?

I'd like to see Bourdais in the IRL, but I hope he doesn't get screwed out of his Dead Bull ride in F1. No matter what you think about his personality, the guy can drive. Also, every time he wins the first thing out of his mouth is a thank you to his team for giving him a great car. I greatly respect that. Like a growing number of drivers, I'm sure he's open to anything that actually pays him to drive.

Following the same lines as Mr. Dog, I'd like to see SeaBass in an IndyCar ride, however, I think he really belongs in F1. His performance at STR last year was shakey at first, but he really came on strong at the end making Q1 on a regular basis. He deserves to keep his seat. If he does get screwed out of F1, it would be awesome to have him in IndyCar. As for taking a number behind the other unemployed drivers, I think he can safely cut in front of the likes of Manning, Foyt, and Power.

Keep that guy out of the irl and let up and coming drivers like Wade Cunningham and Jonathan Klein have a turn.
