I didn't notice any major faux pas on his part during the telecast, but then again maybe this means Bob will consider taking up Roy Hobbson's suggestions for stepping up his game.

The only glaring mistake I noticed was when he said Sao Paulo Brazier. Which...I mean...I thought was HILLARIOUS!
but then....though thirty...the Mutt has a 12 year old sense of humor.
I caught his Freudian slip as well, but otherwise didn't notice anything especially bad. But I'll take Jenkins on a bad day over most announcers on their best.
I caught the Freudian slip too but other than that, I was rather forgiving of all three of them last weekend given that they were all in-studio trying to queue off of (what I thought was) very substandard footage/production being fed from the race site.
Does anybody know if the video feed was actually from VS or if it was partly a Brazilian TV feed that they were using similar to when they go to Japan (which is also pretty bad sometimes)??
Bob don't be ridiculous. You were fine. In fact any race he does and Marty Reid does not is a good race in my world. It was tough with the dust, rain and the t&s outage. He did fine. I was angry with vs failing to covver the lead battle for 4 of the last 5 mins. But Bob was fine and his voice, like Paul Page, ARE Indycar.
I was sort of upset he announced Simona de Silvestro as the Atlantic Series Champion in 2009, and that no one had the courage to correct him, or him to correct himself.
He does screw up relatively often, but I can deal with it compared to having to listen to Marty Reid push Nascab down our throats.
I would like to have Paul Page back!
