Congratulations to Alex Lloyd and Sam Schmidt Motorsports on capturing their fifth successive Indy Pro Series victory at the Road Runner 100 in Milwaukee on Saturday. Alex had to earn it by actually passing (lapping) people.
Of note in the race, Mike Potekhen held off Jonathan Klein for second in the only battle of substance all day. Of course, they were never really close to passing Lloyd - even on restarts from yellows. Yawn.
Meanwhile, Hideki Mutoh appeared to have the mother of all brain fades as he lost control of his car on the opening lap, causing at least six other cars to be taken out of the race. Insert your favorite Japanese word with an exclamation point here.
