Marco goes Hollywood

There's nothing wrong with having an IndyCar driver turning up on the celebrity site TMZ.com (as long as said driver still has their clothes on), but how in the world did Marco Andretti get saddled with dragging former "Silver Spoons", uh, star Alfonso Ribeiro back into the spotlight?

Poor Marco looks like he's thinking "Alfonso Ribeiro? Man, I thought you said Andre Ribiero!" Notice how he ducks away without saying a word.

(Thanks to reader Jennifer for finding this.)

Actually he was on both shows. I just remember him from Silver Spoons because by the time "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" was on I knew to avoid most sitcoms.

But yes, most people probably remember him from some other show. Neither of which he starred in.

I wish I had time to "be chillin" ... I'm in a dead run from 5 am to midnight, on call 24/7. Who has time to chill? And if I did, which I don't, I'm not sure that's the place I'd be chillin. eh, oh well, as they say, different strokes...er, i mean fresh prince.

    ;)

I agree with Carl..how embarssing for Marco. He looked really, really uncomfortable.

Anyone see that episode of Family Guy where they're moving out, and Brian and Peter are arguing over whether or not Alfonso was in SIlver Spoons or Fresh Prince. They then look at one of the movers and say Alfonso where you in Silver Spoons or Fresh Prince and he says both.Sorry--you people reminded me of that and I had to share.

I don't think Marco looked any different from how he ever looks when he knows he's on camera.

You mean like he is sure why he is on camera? I am thinking he may not be the brightest bulb.

yeah, if you look at any of his pictures, he looks the same, the same fake smile and awkwardness. he should be more happy about his career; he makes too much money not to

On either IndyCar.com or his web page , Marco lists Alfonso Ribeiro as his favorite actor. I always thought it was VERY strange.
