Time to speak with the victorious fuel-miser himself. Mr Judd will be fielding your questions at 4:30pm ET TODAY at ESPN.com.
Suggested questions include:
- So, made any off-season plans?
- Is Ashley really that weird, or does she just drink a lot of Canadian Club during races?
- Do you need a special license from the FAA to fly IndyCars?
- What’s Wynonna REALLY like?
- Seriously, what kind of dinner did you buy for Tony Kanaan after Infineon?
UPDATE: Mr Judd was kind enough to answer one of my questions. Or as the case me be, NOT answer.
Jeff (Gilbert, AZ): Regardless of which series you race in next season, do you plan on defending your win at Indianapolis in 2008?Couldn't have just said "Why yes, of course!" could you, Mr Half An Idea What This Race Means? Whatever, Dario. What. Ever.
Dario Franchitti: (4:36 PM ET ) I'm not really sure of what's going to happen next year, but that's going to be a decision we'll make fairly soon.
If you’ve ever seen Ashley’s mother, Naomi, in an interview you can’t completely fault her. It *IS* a learned behavior. Whackity-do’s begat whackity-do’s.
What tickled me was the song that was played right after Ashley's interview says, "shut-up and drive".
He answered my question:
Jason (Noblesville IN): If Scott hadn't have run out of gas, do you think you would have been able to get by him on the final turn yesterday?
Dario Franchitti: That was what I was setting up to do. I was drafting down the back stretch, and setting up to make my move. Would it have worked? I don't know. I like to think so.
I thought he had some respect for the Indy 500. Some said he didn't after he won or maybe he didn't know what it meant, but I made my own mind up based on his actions. I thought he did anyways...
