Hilliard, Ohio (March 14, 2008) – Rahal Letterman Racing, Scott Sharp Sports LLC, Scott Sharp Inc. and Scott Sharp, joined by The Patrón Spirits Company today announced that the parties have reached an amicable settlement in their breach-of-contract case claims against each other.Good to see this didn't drag on, and right about now I'm feeling total compassion for the poor PR people who had to shovel all of this sunshine.
Terms of the settlement are confidential and will not be released.
“We are pleased to put this mutually unpleasant matter behind us. We now can look forward to the start of what promises to be a successful 2008 season.” said Rahal Letterman Racing co-owner Bobby Rahal. “I appreciate Scott's and Patron's commitment to creating a fair and equitable settlement in this matter and I wish both Ed Brown and Scott the best of luck in their racing endeavors this season.”

And though it only raced one season, I'm still gonna miss that snappy-looking Patrón car.
That was one slick-looking car, alright. I'm actually looking forward to seeing some of the new livery this season. The NHL cars could be cool-looking, with that vivid red McDonald's car. I wonder if CDW is still involved with Justin. If so, might they shift that money to Graham's car, for a pair of red machines?
Interesting Patron fact: every week after the race they had to give away or pour out every single opened bottle (including the Patron Platinum, which I swear left me feeling much like the Rob Zombie desert scene in the Beavis & Butthead movie)

you can still watch the Patron-Highcroft Racing car during the 11 American Le Mans Series races this season !!
Many fans are fans of both IRL and ALMS !
and many IndyCar teams have teams race in ALMS too.
Don't forget about the Scott Sharp fans at Indy... what WERE those little things sprouting from those girls' heads?
Tim, that girl would have been me! Those things are called "Fantlers" - fan antlers. They made their official 2008 debut this weekend at Sebring... if Scott returns to Indy, expect to see them there again!
