Behold the power of Oriol Servia, as IndyStar report indicates the Saturday Night Live from Miami was a moderate success.

ESPN2 earned its highest rating ever for an IndyCar Series race for coverage of Saturday night's season-opening event at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The show averaged a 0.8 rating and 815,070 household impressions.

The rating was up from 0.7 last year, previously ESPN2's highest rating for an IndyCar Series event.
Getting around a 0.8 makes sense when you add last year's 0.7 to Champ Car's near zero rating. Hey, it beats declining, right?

If the bump in resturant reservations is any sign, I think Indy will be classic.

There are no tables available the entire day at St. Elmo Steak House. None. Nada. So there goes one of my day-before-the-race traditions out the window this year thanks to the blendification. hah.

Obviously I need better connections. Where's Anthony Fedele when I need him?

Speaking of ratings and such, I think ye ol'e IRL should keep track of the sites regular "players" in regards to our TSO fantasy league! I will admit that I am bringing this up, as it may be the only week that I am towards the front, but would be fun either way.
