"I know what's going on behind the scenes … There's no way Paul could have a competitive car out of this deal. My advice to Paul is not to do it. I don't see any way he could have the testing or the competitive car given the amount of time they have. I know they'd love to have him there but I don't see the point in sending Paul around the track to embarrass himself. I don't think that's in Paul's best interests." – Nick Challis, adviser to Paul Tracy, anticipating a poor performance by Tracy and preemptively blaming said performance on his prospective Walker/Vision entry before Captain Crunch has finalized his ride for the race at Edmonton.
Do Fans Want Standing or Flying Starts?

p.s. oops, sorry for the expletive.
It's OK, John. I've seen worse around here lately, and I know you were talking about his donkey.
The guy is obviously right.
Viso and Bernoldi finished in the Top 5 at St Pete.
Both Dale Coyne cars finished in the Top 7 at The Glen.
To say Tracy can only embarrass himself at a similar course in Edmonton sounds more like an indictment of Tracy’s current skill set than a commentary on whoever preps his car.
If TG is backing this effort (which we all he is) and TG owns the series, it's a safe bet to say the TG is going to lend the resources. The Vision cars have been solid for the most part this year. Larry Curry seems to be hopping about, so I'm sure some setup and other research will magically fall into the laps of Walker Racing. These are all good things. I hope Tracy brings some good interview material. Hell, I could go for the wrestling suit. Publicity = sponsors = money = growth = pre and post race shows on TV = the list goes on = ....could the Snake Pit return to IMS??? I know....a bit of a stretch, but my list could have gone on and on.
So, Challis would rather have Tracy tooling around in the N-Word Truck series (the only confirmed ride PT has had since Long Beach was a test in a truck @ Chicagoland) than in an Indy Car.
Brilliant.
Of course, PT could wait for Gerry Forsythe to start a team in the IRL . . . . . . . . . . . .
