After two test sessions in the wee hours of the Western Hemisphere, Will Power is dominating the early laps. Back in his home state of Queensland, Power is setting the pace for the Timing and Scoring at Surfer’s Paradise, leading the field by over a second.

Meanwhile, EJ Viso and Bruno Junqueira Mario Moraes are simply leading the Scoring.

I believe you may have your Coyne teammates confused. It looks like Moraes in the photo with EJ and the bikini clad ladies.

Ya, that's Moraes. But it's not Jeff's fault. The photo was mislabeled by the BAM media folks in their release.

was wondering when you were going to show this even some lannucci-love

It's an honest mistake. These Brazilians all look alike.

    *ducks*

Sorry for not covering the event much until now, but I'll be all over it this weekend. It's a lame excuse to my devoted readers but my day job has consumed much more of my time recently. A co-worker was downsized and your humble host has been given his responsiblities on top of my own.

But at least I HAVE a job, right?

OK, that's enough of that - don't want to launch into a discussion of economic hardships. I presume like me many of you follow racing as a diversion from all of that.

no worries... my current jobless situation has left me wandering the interweb alone in the afternoons wondering where all my blog friends are. oh ya, WORKING... duh.

Check out the online practice coverage. The Aussie commentators are awesome, not only for their pronunciation of the "Neekon Indy 300" hehe
