After an inexplicably prolonged absence your humble host has returned behind the microphone to chat up a fellow word butcher. This time the guest is the personable Meesh from "So...here's what i'm thinking...", who graciously shared her thoughts for nearly a half hour - without swearing like a sailor.

Here is the show. Enjoy.

I flipped it on the NHL allstar game and saw the finish line promo during the 1st quarter intermission. I went back to Versus for the WEC Fight and saw the same ad again. I don’t recall seeing anything like this on ABC or ESPN, so I’d say this is a great improvement. This station definately has a niche, and I’ve been watching this station for awhile…mostly World Extreme Cagefighting and Inside MMA, so I think we are hitting a new audience……hopefully we can draw some new fans. Versus is a top of the line station and I have 110% confidence they will do a phenomenal job with IndyCar. I must add that Jens Pulver dropped an F-Bomb in his post fight interview, and the announcers didn’t seem to care at all, and the crowd cheered. I’m liking this even more. We’ll get to see Danica vs. Milka uncensored, and the rest of the ICS drivers telling how they really feel about EJ. Don’t get me wrong, this EJ character has grown on me and I'm a fan. If KV can sign Paul Tracy, Versus will make the best of the controversies that will ensue.

John, I'm guessing you saw the bigger f-bomb from Varner after Cerrone got screwed from the stoppage decision...

Kosuke Matsuura would be f'n disappointed in the way that ended...

p.s. for those who haven't seen it, click that link, that may be a Top 5 Marty Reid quote after Kosuke's awesomeness

Yeah, I saw that too. I must be one of the few that used to watch the early UFC, which is why I question that call. Nonetheless, I think Versus will do a great job with IRL coverage. We actually have a network that will be dedicated to promoting the product, as opposed to a network that only televises because they are contracted to do so. I think we are going to see some of the best progamming we've ever seen for American Open Wheel Racing, and us fans will be unhappy when we see ABC/ESPN covering a few races (Indy 500 excluded).

I hope the both of you are right. I'm tired of races that don't start on time because of women's golf. We're depending on you V to put on a nice production. There's nothing more excruciating than to have to sit and watch some crap before the start of a race while trying to figure out what's worse: not seeing it from the beginning or knowing it has already started and you're not watching it live. BTW, how will this effect "timed" races? Another pet peeve of mine.

Top show as always Jeff, and great to hear the voice of Meesh!
