Poor Vitor

He's 0-for-97 in his IndyCar career, he's wearing a body brace recovering fractured vertebrae, and he's been reduced to assembling 2000-piece puzzles. But he's not quitting.

That's just sad. I'm glad that he's still working on getting back, but there's a sound of something sort of resigned in his voice.

I'd rejoice to see Vitor have a winning season or even just finally win a race. Sadly, it seems his opportunity for that has greatly faded.

    I wish him the best.

I wondered if situations like this are covered by worker's compensation or if there are other financial arrangements made when a driver is injured and out of commission.

"Poor Vitor" is an understatment. This guy just has the worst luck. Maybe it's for the best though. Maybe he won't be with Foyt next year and someone who actually has a shot a winning will put him in a car. His mind will be fresh, he'll come back stronger, and hopefully get that much needed win. Good Luck Vitor! and we wish you a speedy recovery!
