Looks like Indy will be a standalone super-race sooner than later.
If you don't come into that job with a plan and a strategy to make that plan happen you've already lost.
You know what it takes to put on a rodeo? A couple bulls, a saddle and some dirt and maybe a guy in a clown costume. Sponsorships will cover the overhead and make you a profit as long as the gate covers your event costs.
It doesn't quite work that way in the IRL.
P.S. Its not the fans that are watching that you need to cater to. Try talking to the people who QUIT watching. They are your target audience.
What a lovely-and uninformed point of view, Scott. Why not give Randy Bernard a chance before making judgments? I realize that facts are cumbersome to some, but give the man a chance. If you don't like what going on, then leave. Pure and simple.
