Bye-bye Danica!
I did, indeed, hurl. Think E Jr. will go topless?
The snarky side of me says they're just trading one overhyped driver for another, but IMO the odds favor Danica! getting an IRL win before Jr. gets an N-word Insert-Latest-Sponsor Cup Cham-peen-ship. (Yes, Joooon-yer has won races [but not in the N-word's Insert-Latest-Sponsor Cup series since 2006] and Danica has not, but the N-word series and N-word fans seem to value Cham-peen-ships more than race wins)
Junior is in and Danika is out because Jr has a larger chest.
So, Dale is now a Go Daddy Girl?
Jr. smiles, Danica doesn't. Jr. looks friendly. Danica thinks she should look "tough and cocky", but she can't make it work. Whether either are actually what they project is immaterial. Impressions matter in advertising. Go-Daddy obviously is going in a different direction here. Jr.'s the bigger draw and much more immediately recognizable, no doubt about it, whether we like it or not. Wins don't matter. The number of fans does. Danica's a big fish in a little pond. Jr's a really big fish in a really big pond.
Danica's still getting plenty of face time at that site. I think they're being careful not to overuse Dale's sneering mug. I see Dale's career waning while Danica's has still to reach its apex.
