To be quite honest, Chip and I still have a fantastic relationship. You know, I made a decision to move on, and I think that was, that was best for certainly the two of us. But in terms of making that decision, my management had spoken to John shortly after that race we did in Kentucky. And I wasn’t sure there was the possibility of being able to drive for this team and then it turned out there was.

I find it very easy to hate certain playas in this little drama. I can appreciate, and am impressed, that Dan is being PC & smooth about it in public. That is more than can be said for some others.
I don't know what Dan has been doing, but when I saw this video I thought Dan looked really cute. And it has been a very long time since I thought that. Is it ths haircut? Is it the more humble Dan? Or did he get his veneers filed down?
jennifer, it's all of the above. firs the cut his damn hair, it was getting so long that he look like a women. second, his teeth have been fixed some more..filed down I believe. and he is much more humble. but he has always been humble in my opinion.

I'd say that Chip was the first one to want Dan out of the seat. Once Dan got word of the Dario insertion, Dan knew he had to look elsewhere. Dan never won a championship or a 500 for Chip in 3 years and that's what Chip is all about. Too bad Ganassi couldn't put together a 3rd arrow for Dan....but that's Panthers gain.

Jennifer, I'm with you - this is the first time that Dan has looked like his old self in a very long time. Many times this season he verged on unrecognizable. Thankfully, the 2007 version of Dan is peeking through.
